Arjun Asokumar
Arjun Asokumar is a member of The University of Chicago Class of 2024 and is majoring in Economics with a specialization in Business Economics. He spent his first year of undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins and has continued his involvement at ALC since transferring. Arjun’s passion for VC grew from his experience in various entrepreneurial pursuits with his friends within the tech and apparel spaces. At JHU, in addition to being a Varsity Tennis Player and ALC Associate, Arjun was involved in economic research with Professor Steve Hanke and Dr. Kahn. This past summer, he was a Corporate Finance Summer Analyst at Abbott, where he explored his passions for healthcare, tech, and finance. This fall, Arjun is leveraging his past experiences in finance and healthcare in an investment banking internship at Triangle Healthcare Advisors, a lower-middle-market focused M&A firm in Chicago. If Arjun isn’t playing tennis or in the classroom, he enjoys biking, playing cards, and supporting The Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.
