Shreya Singh
Shreya is a Masters student at JHU studying Biomedical Engineering with a Biomedical Data Science focus, and is graduating in May 2022. She finished her undergrad at JHU in May 2021, also in Biomedical Engineering. Shreya has been a research analyst at Sands Capital for over a year, supporting their Life Sciences funds and focusing on high-growth diagnostics, therapeutics, and medical device private ventures. She previously spent a summer at The Dedham Group doing boutique life-sciences strategy consulting with a market-access focus. She has a strong technical background, and has held machine learning roles at the National Institutes of Health and Invictus Capital. She also spent two years on a data-science team engineering a clinical forecasting tool with the JHU ICU, and is a current member of Dr. Josh Vogelstein’s Neurodata Lab at Hopkins, where she conducts cutting-edge computational neuroscience research. Shreya loves exploring the world of emerging technology, with personal passions for quantum computing, data-driven medicine, and blockchain applications. Throughout her undergrad, Shreya was involved with Alpha Kappa Psi, the Hopkins professional business fraternity, and Alpha Phi. In her free time, Shreya enjoys running, cryptocurrency investing, and electronic music production.
