POSITION OVERVIEW:
People Partners at Origin have a clear and challenging mission to build a team that is growing super fast and will triple this year while keeping a super high bar. To accomplish this they will spend most of their time sourcing and screening great candidates. That translates into devoting most of your efforts to people, processes, and purpose.
Working on people means, mostly, hiring A players. But it also means increasing satisfaction with new hires, getting referrals, building a network, raising Origin's cultural bar, and giving constant feedback.
Working on processes is supporting our efforts to scale the hiring process, learning from past mistakes, making good & fast decisions, reducing the time-to-fill key roles, and planning for tomorrow.
Working on purpose means creating alignment and motivating great candidates & employees to build a product that impacts the lives of hundreds of millions of people all over the world.
Part of your time will be taken by meetings. You will also join our Biweekly all-hands and will have an individual one on one with our Chief of Staff every other week.
Responsibilities:
Write and post technical job descriptions;
Source potential candidates on niche platforms and screen their resumes;
Shortlist candidates;
Build a diverse pool of candidates for each open position;
Interview candidates;
Support tech leadership to forecast hiring needs and work with them to identify gaps and make sure the process is running as expected;
Create outbound campaigns and send personalized recruiting emails to potential candidates;
Onboard new hires; and
Constantly rethink and improve the current processes.
