We are seeking a creative, high-impact, and customer-centric Head of Product to oversee our product organization.
ROLE
As Head of Product, you will lead the product vision, strategy, and direction for the business as we quickly expand towards new customer segments and opportunities. You will be charged with leading all teams associated with Product Management, Product Design, and Product Marketing. You will be a key member of the leadership team and partner with our CEO, COO, SVP of Technology and executive team to help drive broader corporate strategy and direction, and optimize and align your teams against this strategy.
Responsibilities
Oversee an internal product organization that also includes Product Design and Product Marketing. Continue to build, train, inspire and motivate a world-class product team.
Establish a strong sense of vision and ability to mobilize product and engineering teams to continue innovating to drive market leadership and customer success.
Work with our many customers - hotel guests, owners, managers, & staff - and seek to understand both the delights and frustration of their product experience.
In collaboration with Product Marketing, develop and execute effective Go-To-Market strategies for new products with a focus on rapid adoption and proof of product-market-fit
Implement continuous feedback loops with customers and internal stakeholders to extract valuable insights that inform the product vision.
Establish a data practice across product management, measuring to objectives and key results that align with the product and business strategy.
Collaborate across functions with other leaders ensuring alignment in product vision, strategy, roadmap, and organization plan.
Develop a long-term roadmap and strategy that enables us to reach and exceed our business goals and vision.
Ideal Requirements
Significant experience as a senior-level Product executive in a growth company and has built a successful product organization at global scale.
An inspirational, collaborative mindset with demonstrated success in building products that are loved by customers.
Experience building and scaling a product organization, establishing a culture of excellence for the product team and extending the product process throughout the company.
Experience leveraging behavioral psychology, UX, and data science to deliver customer and business value.
Strong marketing experience, specifically in the successful launch of new products
Experience managing the complexity of multiple products serving multiple markets/segments and buyers.
Strong general management and strategic planning skills combined with expertise in establishing and leading business planning, operational, and financial processes.
Experience effectively communicating strategic objectives and action plans to multiple teams across a variety of functions.
