Job Overview: B2B Marketing Communications Senior Manager/Director

As a B2B Marketing Communications Senior Manager/Director (depending on your years of experience), you will work at the intersection of emocha’s marketing, sales, product and experience teams to advance the emocha brand, generate predictable, repeatable demand for our products and services and champion our culture through corporate communications. The position is remote with occasional travel to emocha headquarters and industry events/conferences.

This role has two key goals:

  • Deliver the emocha value proposition in our target B2B customer segments - Health Plans, Health Systems, Public Health Departments, and Clinical Trials and Research Leaders .

  • Advance the understanding of and increase the use of emocha’s Digital Medication Adherence Programs by managing highly visible and complex marketing initiatives and campaigns from development through delivery and evaluation

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate the value prop of emocha’s solution to develop market positioning and customer-facing messaging for 2-3 of emocha’s key segments

  • Owns the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and tactics for 2-3 of emocha’s key B2B segments

  • Creates, implements and oversees multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns that effectively describe and promote emocha and our products among 2-3 of our key customer segments

  • Writes and edits short-form components of emocha’s integrated marketing and communications campaigns including marketing mailers and sales sequences, teleprospecting scripts, sell sheets, web landing pages, videos, presentations, ad copy, and copy for in-person & virtual events

  • Crafts useful and engaging content to increase digital traffic across our website and social channels (paid, earned and owned)

  • Interacts with clients to develop assets that will be a central part of integrated marketing campaigns; e.g. gaining copy approval on a case study and/or speaking participation in a joint presentation/webinar alongside your Client Success teammates.

  • Manages other marketing consultants and vendors to deliver various aspects of our integrated marketing and communications campaigns

  • Researches and negotiates arrangements with marketing vendors

  • Stay on top of market research and competitive trends and translate them into POVs to to share with product and sales team and inform positioning

  • Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve emocha’s annual recurring revenue objectives and adjusts plans/tactics accordingly

  • Works to expand emocha’s participation in relevant associations and regulatory bodies that are influence among some of emocha’s key B2B segments

  • Provides supervision and direction to marketing operations team members and our marketing communications designer on various campaigns

  • Aids in the preparation of presentations and communications geared toward our emocha employees

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including growth, product, data, and design, to drive customer targeting, product launches and tactic execution. Also partner with data team, leverage actionable insights to inform segment marketing strategies for our products and services.

  • Shapes packaging and pricing for product to ensure they are aligned with the market

Sales Collaboration

  • Generates market qualified leads (MQLs) in support of the company’s annual recurring revenue goals

  • Develops assets that can be recycled and reused in numerous 1:1 conversations; e.g case studies, overview presentations, sell sheets, sales snippets

  • Collaborates closely with those growth team members who have sales responsibilities for the same B2B segments

  • Partners with the client success team members who are working with clients in those same B2B segments

Product Collaboration

  • Assures value propositions reflect current functionality and near-term product roadmap goals

  • Provides relevant competitor marketing surveillance to help accentuate our products strengths and opportunities

Experience Collaboration

  • Partner with our experience officer and marketing designer to ensure copy for email campaigns, print and digital ads, landing pages, sales assets, website copy, etc is visually on brand for the key B2B segments they support

Experience, Qualities and Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in related marketing discipline, with a focus on B2B technology and/or healthcare

  • Successful track record of planning and rolling out marketing campaigns to one or more of emocha’s B2B segments

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of communications related experience in tech, business, journalism, communications, content marketing or content strategy

  • Familiarity with a variety of different marketing concepts, practices and procedures e.g. Marketing ROI, Account Based Marketing, Content Marketing, SEO

  • Proven ability to deliver content including sales playbooks, decks, webinars, blog posts, web content, case studies, and guides

  • Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate features into benefits

  • Ability to effectively inspire, influence and communicate cross-functionally, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
